Every summer, the Alabama Scholastic Press Association and the College of Communication and Information Sciences welcome a group of high school students to attend the intensive, nine-day Multicultural Journalism Workshop.

Students study and practice journalism under UA faculty and top journalists, learning how professionals report, write and present the news in print, online and by broadcast.

    I can't wait for this summer and this workshop. We are hard at work producing our first newspaper here at Stanhope Elmore High School.
